Gentiana - a favourite for growers and garden enthusiasts

Our collection of relatively easy-to-grow Gentianas suited for 10-14 cm pots.

The well-known clear blue color is represented by the two varieties Blue Heart#TM# and Blue Eternity#TM#. Two younger members of the Rocky Diamond® collection are Pink Eternity#TM# and Purple Eternity#TM#.

Gentiana are known for being tricky to grow and keep alive in the garden, but Blue Heart is one of the easier varieties to handle in this flower family. Rocky Diamond® are astonishing plants featuring high ornamental value. The beautiful flowers are strong and durable.

Rocky Diamond® Gentiana are perennials that, when planted in the right spot, will come back year after year - although our perception is, that most plants are used as annuals in planters on patios and doorsteps.

Gentiana will close their flowers during the night, on cloudy days, and inside low-light rooms.

Expect the Rocky Diamond® to perform well for 4-6 weeks when planted outdoors.
